LIMA, Peru, MAR. 18, 2001 (Zenit.org).- Peru's bishops have announced that the "Day of the Unborn" will be celebrated March 25, feast of the Annunciation.
The initiative invites Peruvians to be grateful for the gift of life and to respect the right to life of every human being from the moment of conception.
In some Latin American countries, Day of the Unborn has been recognized even at the civil level. The first to take this step was Argentina.
